Welcome to Day 19. Let’s talk about the one thing you’re guaranteed in this lifetime: you will never, ever stop learning.
The trouble starts when you stop. When you decide, you know enough. And even worse, when you become too prideful, too stubborn, to learn anything new.
Let’s be real: learning is a humbling process. It’s repetitive, it’s awkward, and it never really ends. And if you don’t learn to engage with it—to actually embrace the discomfort—you will become stunted. You’ll stop growing and you’ll start deteriorating, mentally and spiritually. It’s not a threat; it’s a fact.
Think about it. Do you think our parents enjoy learning about new technology from us? Do they find it fun to have their kid explain how to use a smartphone or set up a Wi-Fi router? Probably not. It can be embarrassing for them. But they do it. Why?
Because the world keeps spinning. It changes with or without your permission. And you have two choices: adapt with humility, or get left behind with your pride.
It is embarrassing to admit you don’t know something. It’s uncomfortable to have to ask someone else for help. It sucks to walk into an office and ask a “stupid” question. It’s frustrating to have to go back to the drawing board and start from the very beginning after you’ve already put in the work.
But that’s not failure. That’s just life.
Especially now. In this fast-paced world, if you aren’t actively learning every single day, you are falling behind. You must continually sharpen your mind to equip yourself to deal with the new challenges the world presents. Your brain is a muscle—neglect it, and it atrophies.
Your willingness to look foolish today is what will make you wise tomorrow.
So, where do you start?
This isn’t just about learning a new software or a trendy skill. It’s about cultivating a mindset—a mindset that stays curious, remains humble, and understands that not knowing is not a permanent state. It’s just the first step to knowing.
Your brain is your greatest tool. Don’t let it rust. Sharpen it. Challenge it. Be a student for life.
